COMPANY WILL PAY TO GET "CDL B" FOR HEAVY EQUIPTMENT OPERATING LICENSE

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of field construction activities including pouring concrete, digging holes and trenches, installing underground conduit and wiring, building and repairing fencing, and performing basic electrical and mechanical work. As the face of the company, you will deliver high-quality results to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also operate hand and power tools, as well as construction equipment like excavators and skid steers.

Essential Skills

  • 2-3 years of experience in construction - Concrete/earthwork/Carpentry

  • Proficiency with hand and power tools

  • Experience with excavators and skid steer operation

  • Concrete construction and finishing

  • Carpentry skills

Responsibilities

  • Pour concrete

  • Dig holes and trenches

  • Install underground conduit and wiring

  • Build and repair fencing

  • Perform basic electrical and mechanical work

  • Operate hand and power tools

  • Operate construction equipment - Excavators & Skid Steers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to lead a 2-man crew after 6 months

  • CDL Class B is a plus but not required

Work Environment

You will be working in 2-man crews with required PPE such as a hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, and Hi-Viz gear. This is a year-round outdoor position with work across the USA, so weather conditions will vary based on location. The schedule typically involves 2+ weeks of travel followed by 4 days off, with 2 days off per week worked. If you are on the road for 3 weeks, you will have 6 days off.
