We are looking to hire multiple Transportation Service Managers in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa location

Division: CRST Capacity Solutions brought together our Flatbed, Integrated, and Expedited services. Fully managed asset-based transportation which includes long haul, drayage, short-haul regional, and time-sensitive freight augmented by our expansive third-party carrier network and power-only capabilities.

Shifts: These will be 2nd and 3rd shift positions

Hours: Variable

Location: On-site (1332 Edgewood Rd SW Cedar Rapids, Iowa)

Qualifications:

• Transportation and Dispatch experience required

• Computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Office, and McLeod)

• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and decision-making

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to handle stressful situations and make decisions with confidence

• Strong logistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers to identify solutions that meet their specific needs

• Proactively facilitate problem resolution with shipments at risk or not meeting customer requirements

• Build effective business relationships with customers, drivers and partner carriers

• Act as a liaison between the customer, driver, and internal departments responsible for follow-through of execution

• Develop and execute strategies to maximize fleet utilization and account profitability

• Drive revenue by bidding on freight, and create margin by negotiating rates with partner carriers
