POSITION PURPOSE:
The Assistant Activities Director plays a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of extracurricular activities and events within the school district. Working closely with the Activities Director, this position contributes to the development of a vibrant and diverse extracurricular program that enriches the educational experience and fosters student engagement and leadership development in the school community.
EXPECTATIONS:
The Director of Alternative Services and Attendance will also serve as a member of the district administrative team and will be called upon to engage in the work of that team in other areas as assigned by the superintendent.
Supervision and Support:
- Supervise students before, during, and after extracurricular activities and events, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to school policies.
- Provide guidance and support to student leaders, club sponsors, coaches, and volunteers involved in organizing and running activities.
- Supervise spectators and facilities during extracurricular activities serving as administrative representative on duty.
- Collaborate with visiting officials and clinicians at extracurricular events as needed.
