The Resident Assistants role is to assist/prompt members to complete tasks such as activities of daily living and ensuring the members independence and freedom of choice in their home and in their community. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides direct care and training opportunities to each member in accordance with their needs as outlined in their individual case plan including but not limited to cooking, hygiene, and cleaning etc. Provide transportation of members for appointments and other community activities Assist with all aspects of member medication needs Assist with implementation of all aspects of financial needs of each member. Complete the required documentation in all areas of member programming Advocate and educate members regarding their rights and responsibilities Assist with implementation of all aspects of medical needs of each member Assist the members with their personal wants and needs including meal planning and personal/grocery
Requirements: -18 years of age or older -High school diploma or GED required -Clean driving record -Clean criminal background -Able to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
