Aventure Staffing Quality Assurance Technician in Cherokee, Iowa
Production Workers | $21.55/hour
Start times can vary depending on the area you are working in for the week. Monday - Friday
We are urgently hiring for a Quality Assurance Technician right here in Cherokee. Candidates must posses previous Quality Assurance experience within a food packaging facility. This is a great opportunity to get started with a growing company. Apply today as these positions will go fast!
Responsibilities:
Collecting finished product and performing tasks that ensure the customer quality and specifications are met
Performing batching of raw materials in the Grinding areas
Working with operations leadership to determine raw materials to be used for batching and formulation of finished products
Collecting pre and post operational swabs to ensure Listeria and Environmental program requirements are completed weekly
Performing batching of raw materials in the Grinding areas. She/he will be trained and required to batch all finals to meet customer specifications of lean/fat percent ratios
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Ability to read and write English
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in cooler temperatures, around 38 degrees
Ability to push, pull, bend and stoop frequently
