About Us:

One Vision is committed to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), positively impacting the lives of over 300 people across 20 communities in Iowa. As we continue to grow, we are excited to leverage our expertise in assistive technology and remote support by offering tailored solutions to other organizations that serve individuals with IDD, while increasing independence and accessibility for those individuals.

This role will lead a new business line focused on providing consulting services to organizations, helping them enhance their ability to serve individuals with IDD through the integration of assistive and remote support technology. By implementing these solutions, organizations can improve accessibility and independence for people with IDD, while also reducing their reliance on in-person direct support. We will collaborate with healthcare providers, educational institutions, employers, and government agencies to drive meaningful changes and increase capacity in the sector.

We are seeking a director to lead this new business initiative, Smart Living by One Vision, a consulting service dedicated to transforming the lives of people with disabilities through innovative assistive and remote support technology. This is a key leadership role within our organization, where you will play an instrumental part in expanding our presence in the assistive and remote support technology sector. As a member of our team, you will help drive our mission to break down barriers and create a more inclusive world.

Job Summary:

In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to grow our new business in the assistive and remote support technology sector. Your focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, and managing key accounts across healthcare, education, and corporate sectors. As the leader of this new initiative, you will play a key role in expanding our organization's footprint while cultivating strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Growth:Assist in developing and executing a business development strategy that focuses on expanding the company's presence in healthcare, education, government, and private sectors by offering assistive and remote support technology solutions.

``` - Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients such as Home- and Community Services (HCBS) long-term service and supports (LTSS) organizations, aging services organizations, colleges and universities, government organizations, and corporations. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

``` - Consultative Selling:Understand clients' needs and challenges related to accessibility and assistive technology. Offer customized solutions and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that clients receive the most suitable products and services.

``` - Partnership Development:Build relationships with assistive technology vendors, device manufacturers, and other organizations in the disability services ecosystem while strengthening the organization's market position and service offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Education, or a related field. Additional certifications or training in assistive technology or disability services is a plus.

``` - Five to seven years of progressively responsible managerial experience in IDD services or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in client services, business development, sales, or account management.
