The successful candidate will be responsible for various aspects of project management including equipment and plant layout design, energy conservation initiatives, and the development and implementation of capital programs and key projects. This role encompasses the general upkeep and improvement of plant facilities, electrical and mechanical servicing, and the efficient maintenance of the physical plant, utilities, and grounds in compliance with state and federal regulations and company.

Job Type: Full time; Consultant (1.5 year contract)

Location: Clinton, IA

Schedule: Monday to Friday; First Shift

Pay Rate: Up to $ 86.00/hour

Job Description:

Participates in the development, implementation, and coordination of the capital budget to improve and maintain equipment and facilities 15%

Leads and manages assigned capital projects to include new equipment installations, plant layout and design, manufacturing automation projects, and maintenance related projects. Develops scope of work and evaluates bids for work completion 55%

Monitors outside contractors to assure compliance with all company standards including sanitation, safety, quality, productivity and budgeting 10%

Working knowledge of the engineering environmental activities including air, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and solid waste 5%

Responsible for the cost schedule and performance of assigned projects 5%

Understand and complies with all property accounting policies and procedures 5%

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.

Experience: (Years/Type) 3+ years of capital project management experience, 1+ years of budget management experience. Capable of managing the capital budget process from beginning to end. Able to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects on an ongoing basis. Thorough understanding of engineering economics.

OSHA 10 or 30 certifications preferred

Food Safety certification preferred

Pay Details: $70.00 to $86.79 per hour
