Join the MercyOne Team as a full-time Occupational Therapist at our Clinton location. Our focus is quality-comprehensive treatment to achieve the most optimal outcome. The OT will evaluate and treat patients of all ages. Develop treatment plans with involvement in family/support systems to meet the individual’s functional goals. General Requirements:

  • Current Iowa licensure, registration and/or certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT) as per state regulations by the state(s) working in.

  • Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

  • Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission and vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.

Education:

  • Graduate from an accredited education program for OTs and is eligible to take or has passed the examination for OTs administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT). The education program for U.S. trained OTs is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). For foreign trained OTs, graduated from an OT education program accredited as substantially equivalent to a U.S. OT education program by ACOTE, the World Federation of Occupational Therapists, or a credentialing body approved by AOTA.
