In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design and perform experiments independently to improve existing or create new processes or materials. Manages new processes from proof of concept through validation and implementation.

• Solves straightforward problems, including but not limited to new product development, fail reduction, new synthesizer development, and innovation ideas

• Supports small to large projects, including Operations Improvements, PPL, PPG, BU requests, other IDT initiatives

• Analyze and interpret QC and experimental data.

• Collaborate and effectively communicate with all levels of IDT staff within various departments to facilitate successful project and process outcomes, including full documentation via reports and/or presentations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor’s degree in science related field required.

• 2 years work experience in a high tech or biotech company required.

• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Expertise of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes and synthesis methods preferred.

• Previous experience leading process development efforts preferred.
