Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Moped Instructor to provide comprehensive training to new and experienced riders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understand of safe riding practices, and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
Job Duties
Conduct moped training courses for individuals and groups, covering both theoretical and practical aspects of safe riding.
Develop lesson plans and instructional material that meet state regulation and best practices for moped operation.
Ensure all training sessions are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local traffic laws, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with teaching methods and safety practices.
Qualifications
Ability to pass a background check
An instructor of an approved course shall possess a valid driver's license allowing unaccompanied driving other than a temporary restricted license and shall be able to operate a motorized bicycle. An instructor must also have a clear driving record for the previous two years.
A clear driving record means the instructor has:
No driver's license suspensions, revocations, denials, cancellations, disqualifications or bars.
Not committed an offense that would result in driver's license suspension, revocation, denial, cancellation, disqualification or bar.
No record of a law enforcement investigative report indicating two or more contributive motor vehicle accidents in a two-year period.
