Tyson Foods Dry Room Operator-2nd shift in Council Bluffs, Iowa
This position starts at $17.55/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have open positions for 2nd shift .

This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Team Member is responsible for monitoring the audits done in the slicing room. Team Member must conduct timely checks for metal detection, slice counts per ounce, label verification and other varying audits as needed within the Slicing Department as deemed necessary by management. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Applicant must have good communication and organizational skills to ensure process is followed in compliance with product processing procedures and regulations.
This position involves working in a cold dry environment, lifting up to 30 pounds, repetitive motions, reaching above shoulders, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing and walking. This position will be on a rotating 12 hour schedule.
Applicant must have at least six months of continuous work history with same employer within the last twelve months to be considered for this position .
