To be considered, you must apply on our website at this link:i Western Community College is currently seeking an Academic Success Office Assistant/Test Proctor to join our exciting and student-focused team at our beautiful SW Iowa Campus, in Council Bluffs Iowa. This position reports to the Director of Student Assistance and provides exceptional, friendly, and helpful customer service to students, faculty, and staff at the front desk of the Academic Success Office and in the Test Center. This position assists students by answering general questions, providing directions to campus resources and buildings and schedules appointments for the test center, mental health, and disability services. This individual will also proctor a wide variety of tests in the Iowa Western Testing Center, while maintaining a positive attitude and an image of friendliness.Required Qualifications:iHigh School diploma oriGEDirequiredPreferred Qualifications:iAssociateis or Bacheloris Degree preferredPhysical Demands:iinclude occasional lifting of 10 lbs., ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, use hands to operate a computer keyboard, telephone and other basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear and use a phone. Reading, writing, calculating, social interaction skills, reasoning/analysis, ability work with minimal supervision, high degree of problem-solving and high degree of interpersonal skills.
