Aventure Staffing Shear/Brake Operator in Dakota City, Iowa
Shear/Brake Operator | $18+/hr - DOE
Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
An established manufacturing company located in the Humboldt, IA area is hiring an Shear/Brake Press Operator to join their team! The Shear/Brake Operator will be responsible for forming a wide variety of metal component parts. This position will work on first shift, 7AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday and pays $18+/hr, depending on experience. This is a great temp to hire opportunity! Come work for a leader in the design and manufacture of material handling systems and components in the Humboldt area!
Responsibilities:
Set up machine per order specifications
Load machine with metal needed
Operate shear and brake press
Keep a clean workspace
Adhere to all safety regulations
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Knowledge of press operations is a must
Excellent math skills
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to stand for 8+ hours
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
Demonstrated good attendance record
Attention to detail

Starting Pay: $18+/hr - DOE
