Kelly Services Administrative Assistant III in Davenport, Iowa

Kelly is currently seeking a Administrative Assistant to fill a long term role in the Davenport IA area.

Pay rate: $14.50 an hour

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

The ideal candidate must have the following.


  • Ability to multi task in support of multiple managers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in the following are helpful.

  • Payroll Entry

  • Experience with Jantek Time-Clock System

  • Multi-Line Phone System

Job Duties are as follows:

  • Gather and compile data from a variety of electronic reports to create daily productivity reports for management.

  • Coordinate daily workload and respond to additional requests as requested, while prioritizing tasks to ensure timely and efficient results.

  • Input bi-weekly payroll hours for all associates, maintain payroll files.

  • Process new hires within IBM Warehouse management system, to include creation of new profiles, assigning employees to appropriate supervisors, and entering employee schedules; as well as modifying profiles for changes to employee information.

  • Remove terminated associates from Warehouse Management System, while maintaining accurate corresponding hard file of Warehouse Access Authorization Forms.

  • Process new access badges, updating Jantek time clock system. Perform bi-weekly time clock/bell sync. Identify unassigned punches from within Jantek and assign to appropriate employee time card.

  • Generate weekly and monthly automated reports from Business Objects system and compare against current associate and temporary worker rosters for accuracy.

  • Assist associates in utilizing the company s lease car program, acting as liaison for local office while working with corporate representatives in resolving issues and questions of a complex and personal manner throughout the process.

  • Create slideshows for monthly associate meetings using Microsoft Power Point.

  • Provide customer service through positive, knowledgeable interactions with suppliers, contractors, and dealers while operating a multi-line phone as a substitute for the front desk receptionist
