Bridge Deck Project Manager
As a project manager in a heavy highway company, your job description would include the following responsibilities:
Planning and Scheduling: You will be responsible for creating project plans and schedules, including determining timelines, resource requirements, and critical path analysis. You will need to ensure that all project tasks are scheduled in the correct order, and that the project is completed on time and within budget.
Budget Management: You will be responsible for managing the project budget, including creating a budget plan, monitoring expenses, and forecasting costs. You will need to make sure that the project stays within budget and that any budget overruns are addressed promptly.
Communication: You will need to communicate with the project team, stakeholders, and clients on a regular basis, including providing project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with team members and clients from diverse backgrounds.
Risk Management: You will be responsible for identifying potential risks and developing risk mitigation strategies. You will need to be proactive in identifying risks and taking steps to minimize the impact of those risks on the project.
