Media Curriculum Developer:
Develops training curriculum and performance improvement materials on products, processes, and systems through contributions and participation in a systematic development process. Collects and organizes content from various stakeholders by collaborating with intra- and inter- departmental stakeholders. Facilitates the handoff process from development to delivery. Operates as part of a team during the initiation through completion of the project. Duties: Develops or project manages training or performance improvement materials in support of products, processes, or systems. Participates in a curriculum development process to ensure performance gaps are addressed in an analysis phase and contributes in design of a performance improvement solution. Creates and implements a short term/long term training plan by working with various stakeholders in supporting products, processes, and systems. Fosters relationships with inter- and intra-departmental stakeholders to secure resources needed for development and obtain feedback on performance improvement materials. Assists in the transition of developed materials to the group responsible for delivering the materials. Assists in marketing efforts of performance improvement materials to their intended audiences.
Specific Position Requirements
This position will focus on some of the administrative tasks associated with video production including but not limited to digital archiving, metadata, script writing, as well as video production itself focusing on our safety, maintenance and operation videos. This position will also be responsible for editing sound files and scripts for our web based training. Experience with 360 degree video would be great. Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (or equivalent experience) with 1+ years of relevant experience, but manager strongly prefers a Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience with 3+ years of relevant experience. Typical schedule is 8am-4:30pm with no OT expected. Some minimal travel may be required for a Spring training event that would last a total of about 3-6 weeks, but details/confirmation will be confirmed at a later date. Job Title: Media Curriculum Developer
The client is seeking a media curriculum developer. In this position, you will: Produce sound files to match up with visual media. Work with digital content management systems to archive video and add metadata. Write and edit video scripts. Produce videos by filming and editing video footage. The various purposes include promotional videos for the client and its products, employee/customer safety, machine operations, etc. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create multi-media solutions (potentially including 360 Degree video) for individual projects and coordinate the delivery to dealers, customers and company personnel. Train and support division personnel in the use of media equipment. Maintain multi-media equipment and related material. Manage the setup of media equipment in various inside or outside locations to support presentations, trainings or specific events.
