PurposeSchedules, books, and tracks international shipments to Katun facilities globally to ensure that shipments arrive at destination safely, timely and cost effectively.Key ResultsContact service provider (UPS) to book international freight containers to ensure product is delivered in the most cost-effective manner; verifiying contracted quote.Tracks international shipments and resolves shipment discrepancies to ensure timely delivery to all locations.Provide data collection assistance supporting Katun management of global forwarders, domestic LTL carriers, and parcel transportation providersPrepares required export documentation for international shipments to ensure export regulations are met and product reaches final-destination by date specified.Audits and prepares payment of invoices for outbound international shipments to ensure proper payment for services rendered.Coordinate supporting functions for Katun NADC customer direct shipments and consolidated shipments.Provides clerical support to supervisor to ensure timely completion of reports, documents and information.Support Katun Business Unit Logistics Departments as required to ensure compliance of global transportation vendors including U.S. Customs compliance through audits and system updates.Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives both personal and professional development to maximize individual, departmental and organizational capacity.Maintains a safe and efficient work environment to continually meet customer needs and protects the health and welfare of employees.Maintains constructive relationships with employees throughout the warehouse by sharing information and knowledge to enhance coworkeris abilities to achieve results.Performs other projects, work and activities as assigned to ensure continuous service to our internal and external customers.
