Description

We are hiring a Payroll Associate for one of our area's accounting and payroll teams! We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Payroll Associate to join the team. The Payroll Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll for the organization and related affiliates. This individual will be responsible for complying with federal and state reporting requirements, adhering to payroll regulations, and assisting with the completion of quarterly and annual governmental reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner for hospital and related affiliate corporations.

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements, including adherence to payroll regulations.

  • Assist in the completion of quarterly and annual governmental reports.

  • Investigate and resolve payroll-related unclaimed property matters.

  • Collaborate with team members to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll data.

  • Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

  • Resolve payroll-related unclaimed property issues.

Requirements

Associate's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.

Strong understanding of federal and state payroll regulations and reporting requirements.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
