Job Title: Piping Engineer

Work Site

• This is a fully remote position.

Job Description

• Support piping engineering deliverables in build projects

• Oversee technical issues between project teams and other groups (i.e. engineering service providers (ESPs), construction, etc.)

• Ensure compliance of the company’s piping engineering standards, policies, and procedures

• Contribute to safety and engineering recommendations to enhance performance, cost, efficiency, and schedule

• Support multiple capital projects at once

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Minimum of seven years of related work experience

• Prior Work Experience with Petro/Chem Process or Power Generation Facilities

• Experience with complex and multi-disciplinary engineering projects

• Professional Engineering License is preferable

• Experience with Process Industry Practices (PIP)

• Experience with ASME Piping Codes

• Experience with developing specifications and datasheets

• Experience with Pipe Stress Analysis and Pipe Support Design

• Experience with Capital Project Execution from Front End Loading through Start-up and Commissioning

• Familiarity with material of construction, coating, insulation, and inspection and testing requirements

• Technical gap assessment and solution identification

• Ability to work in a remote environment with virtual teams

• Ability to translate highly technical information across all levels of technical knowledge
