LocationUS-Iowa-DavenportDate Posted11 Jan 2019Cobham is seeking a Program Planning and Control Analyst II that will provide comprehensive support services to projects and programs to enable their managers to make decisions based on good quality information. Working as part of a PMO team, these services will be provided to several programs/projects concurrently and will include specialisms around planning, finance, commercial and contract analysis and risk management. This position is located in Davenport, IA.. Key Responsibilities:Maintain information on multiple programs/projects (primarily) concerning risks, issues, scheduling, earned-value, costs and quality outcomes through the prevailing logs and registers.Advise the program/project manager of any trends, deviations and exceptions and make recommendations as to options available.Drive the tracking, updating and reporting progress and/or variance on all aspects of the program/project to include financials (EAC), program/project plans, developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), work breakdown structures (WBS), program/project risk registers and LCM adherence with program/project reporting calendar to both internal and external customers.Provide specialist support to programs/projects including:Expert usage of project management software toolsEarned value managementPlanningRisk ManagementAnalyze and provide complex data to produce reports on programs/projects for monthly reporting cycles and dashboard reports.Coordinate and develop Life Cycle Management practices and methodologies such as Phase Reviews, tender vets, actions closures. Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree.2+ years' experience working in/with project teams.Experience with Project/ERP/MRP Tools.Experience with PPM Techniques.Experience with commercial/contractual considerations.1+ years MS Office: particularly in Excel including charting pivot tables.This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US. In order to be eligible you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Visio and Microsoft Project.Data Analysis experience.
