Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The role encompasses developing and modifying complex applications, participating in the review of business and system requirements, and ensuring the delivery of technology-driven solutions. The workplace is dynamic and the employment type for this role is permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and define the system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex applications.

• Actively participate in the development and review of business and system requirements to gain a thorough understanding of business needs.

• Deliver accurate technology-driven solutions by developing software code in accordance with established Software Development Life Cycle standards and development guidelines.

• Develop technical documentation that accurately depicts the software design and code base to assist Quality Assurance testing and production support activities.

• Perform unit testing to ensure all requirements have been addressed, all basic functionality works, and errors are handled properly.

• Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems. Perform systems analysis and functional testing as needed.

• Coordinate operations between departments to ensure smooth implementation of procedures and/or operations.

• Train user departments in the use of new or revised systems.

• Provide updates on work in progress, work completed, work planned, and issues potentially impacting on-time completion or quality of work.

• Stay current on changes and improvements to system processes and programming techniques. Requirements • Proficiency in Backend Development

• Demonstrable knowledge of C++

• Experience with Database management

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Experience in AB Testing

• Proven expertise in API Development

• Proficiency in ASP.NET

• Demonstrable experience in CSS

• Understanding of the SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle

• Experience in System Analysis

• Knowledge of Object Oriented Development

• Experience with Relational Database
