Maquoketa Valley Community School District is in need of a Full Time Elementary - Middle School Library Para Educator for 2024/25 school year on the Delhi Campus. Extra-curricular assignments may be available based upon the interest and qualification of the applicant. Maquoketa Valley Community School District is located in a supportive and rural community near beautiful Lake Delhi and is less than an hour drive from Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, and Dubuque. Job Description:
Day-to-Day Library Operations
- Assist students in checking out books and finding good fit books
- Checking-in and Checking-out books using the library digital catalog
- Shelving books
- Catalog/process new books
- Minor book repairs and maintenance
- Maintaining the usability of the school library, including general library organization
- Communicate with school staff on scheduling opportunities for book check-out
- Communicate with students/families about overdue/missing books
