Principal Lead Client Onboarding Manager in Denver, Colorado
As a Lead Client Onboarding Manager, you'll be leading the onboarding process with a multi-disciplined transition process for the largest, most sophisticated defined contribution clients in the industry. You'll proactively advise clients and prospects on best practices through the implementation of their retirement plan to Principal. You'll help improve client and intermediary relationships through effective communication and delivery of expectations.
Your day will be filled with:
Leading project plan efforts, driving conversion timeline and ensuring project plan tasks are executed timely and accurately from internal and external partners.
Analyzing complex set-up information and utilizing networking skills to partner with the team on various aspects of the transition process.
Serving as the subject matter expert and maintain overall responsibility for the defined contribution transitions.
Helping build department knowledge by assisting with project work to document unique situations. Serving as mentor for new employees and partnering with the administration team on continuous improvement of the client experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 7+ years of retirement experience.
Knowledge of all aspects of pension, including plan design, products, services, administrative systems, investments, laws and regulations required.
Extensive experience in the institutional retirement industry required working with large clients.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Strong analytical, innovative, and creative thinking, and advanced problem-solving skills.
Excellent relationship building and communication skills, including verbal, written, phone, and presentation skills.
Strong initiative and organization skills to work efficiently and independently to meet aggressive timelines on multiple projects.
Must be detail oriented with focus on accuracy and ability to work in an environment that changes regularly.
Travel may be required 3-5 times a year.
