Aston Carter Accounting Manager in Des Moines, Iowa


  • Record and pay bills

  • Enter deposits and take to bank

  • Reconcile all accounts by the 5th of the month

  • Process loan requests, set up and record payments

  • Set up and remove assets on Appfolio

  • Open, record, enter mail

  • Record purchase/sales on QuickBooks

  • Analyze purchase and sale opportunities

  • Process/record draws on QuickBooks and Appfolio

  • Coordinate closings for purchases and sales

  • Coordinate loans and refinance requests

  • Assist with the YE tax accounting

  • Oversee accounting staff

  • Oversee and implement various Human Resources related items, new hire documentation, insurance items, etc.

  • Verify realtors receive invoices on projects

  • Verify utilities are switched and removed from landlord agreements

  • Deleting all unnecessary files in the property folders, moving from construction/rental to sold folder

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Accounting degree

  • Quickbooks experience

  • Apfolio experience

  • Construction/Property Management experience would be a huge plus
