Our client is looking for two dedicated and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technicians to work a 2 month contract (potentially longer) for two of their properties located in Des Moines.

What will you be doing?

• Performing major and minor apartment repairs, ensuring timely and professional completion of service requests.

• Inspecting vacated apartments, completing make-ready checklists, and coordinating with property managers and leasing staff.

• Conducting daily inspections of the property’s exterior and common areas, ensuring upkeep and curb appeal.

• Maintaining and organizing inventory, ordering parts and supplies, and ensuring equipment and warranty compliance.

• Handling emergency maintenance after hours as part of an on-call rotation.

What do you bring?

• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK, DRUG TEST AND SEX OFFENDER CHECK

• High School Diploma or GED

• Proven experience in general apartment maintenance, including appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work

• Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform various physical tasks
