Assoc Mgr Data Science
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of this role, Associate Manager Data Science, are to:
Work under the guidance of the Director of Advanced Analytics and Data Science to deliver consumer data-driven analytics across existing and new digital data sources to gain a more granular understanding of our consumer and convert insights to action;
Use Machine Learning ensemble models and algorithms (apriori, random forest, boosting methods, etc.) to understand behavioral cohorts of consumers, derived from media audiences based on combinations of lifestyle choices, health conditions and demographics;
Understand unique path to purchase plus avenues for Consumer product, Retail and E-commerce channels and contact innovation;
Deploy and test the impact of dynamic content against scores of audience profiles that are life-style and health condition driven;
Test, learn and scale;
Develop short term digital attribution models based on path to purchase while control for select market conditions;
Find anomalies in trends on granular consumer and retailer data using machine learning algorithms;
Work independently in a virtual, networked environment, deliver project outcomes;
Build frameworks and quality control mechanisms to ensure highest levels of data integrity;
Be able to serve as a thought partner for functional counterparts to inform usage of predictive methods/tools to enhance business unit’s needs;
Identify and build relationships with potential external consulting firms/vendors or parties who may assist in the building of the predictive analytics capability.

Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of experience in data science OR Master’s degree with at least three years of experience;
Educational preparation in at least one of the following areas, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or other related quantitative discipline;
Expertise in one or more core analytics methods including predictive modeling, machine learning, unstructured data analytics/NLP, simulation and optimization techniques;
Knowledgeable of the digital media planning, measurement, and optimization process and acumen (both online and offline);
Programming experience in Python;
Use Machine Learning algorithms to gather, transform and analyze data to create compelling visualizations and presentations;
Ability to tell a story with data to a business audience;
Builds effective teams, cultivates innovation, learning and change agility, customer focus, action oriented/drives results, collaborates globally and locally, plans and aligns, drives stakeholder engagement, effectively manages suppliers;
Proficient with direct and/or interactive marketing test design including A/B Testing for digital media;
Demonstrated history of innovation with emerging ad platforms, data, measurement, or analysis techniques;
Critical thinking, capable of generating consistently accurate, useful reports as well experience in translating data into actionable insight relevant to marketing program objectives;
Proficient in integrating multiple data sources (1st-party, 3rd-party, media activity) and utilizing creative analytical approaches to answer client audience insight or performance questions;
Fit to Win skills;
Excellent financial management skills to critically and objectively assess programs and cost investments versus results, ability to streamline operational processes, superior analytical ability, assessing different models and related outputs, with understanding of impact;
Excellent communication skills, be able to create an environment that encourages innovation and risk taking;
Strong analytical skills and comfortability with digital programs and platforms, including strong MS Office skills.
At least two years of experience focused in CPG or healthcare;
Experience in media attribution and performance measurement of digital media tactics in a CPG environment;
Experience with digital consumer data platforms;
Knowledge of Google Analytics/Social Media Analytics.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $104,000 and $169,000. Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $104,000 and $169,000.Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission.
