SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting the Client Director with managing the CDS Global business relationship and satisfaction of one or more clients. Ensures that clients business needs are satisfactorily met by collaborating, partnering with client and appropriate Business Units of CDS Global. This includes all services, existing ancillary services and all appropriate new services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Client Responsibilities

  • Assist the Client Director with managing the CDS Global relationship and satisfaction of one or more clients. Monitors account(s) activities to ensure
  • CDS Global procedures support contract provisions and client(s) intent.
  • Develops and maintains an understanding of clients philosophies, policies and marketing strategies.
  • Strategizes, consults and collaborates with clients to understand clients needs, requirements and opportunities to promote CDS Global solutions.
  • Markets and promotes company solutions to clients to promote additional business and contract renewals.
  • Ensures that clients needs are satisfactorily met by collaborating and partnering with client and appropriate business units of CDS Global.
  • Develops and maintains thorough knowledge of fulfillment business from client perspective.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of the appropriate fulfillment system(s), CDS Global policies and operational capabilities to effectively manage the clients business.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of CDS Global products and solutions. Consults and advises clients on optimization of CDS Global products and solutions as they relate to their business needs.
  • Coordinates departmental and inter-company services to ensure clients business needs are met and/or exceeded.
  • Organizes resources and responsibilities and/or projects to complete work and/or meet deadlines according to established departmental procedures.

General Responsibilities

  • Performs lead role in account team.

  • Manages projects.
  • Makes decisions on variety of tasks frequently requiring discretion, judgment, and initiative, directed by general procedures or standards.
  • Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients proprietary information.
  • Works extended hours as business needs dictate.
  • Interacts in professional and cooperative manner with all levels of clients, employees and/or vendors in team environment.
  • Follows all CDS Global ergonomic and safety policies.
  • Travels when required or requested.
  • Attends meetings as required or requested.
  • Continually learns and applies new information in dynamic, fast-paced technical environment.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested (or required).

EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSING

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field.Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for the minimum education requirement.
  • Three or more years in Account Management or other related CDS Global industry experience.
  • Demonstrated effective leadership skills.
  • Advanced PC knowledge and skills to use electronic mail and Internet for research.Develops and edits Microsoft Excel or Word documents (or related software). Creates, edits and presents presentations.
  • Advanced verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Advanced math skills.
  • Experience advising and providing consultation to others on complex matters requiring application of financial, technical and management principles.
  • Experience with clients in all areas of fulfillment business provided by CDS Global.
  • Experience with client(s) fulfillment conversions and start-ups.
  • Access to transportation requiring a valid drivers license, proof of safe driving record, and active insurance.
