Key Responsibilities:

• Innovative Collaboration: Work alongside senior engineers to design and develop state-of-the-art data pipelines, transforming raw data into valuable insights.

• Enterprise Data Lakehouse: Play a pivotal role in the buildout, migration, and maintenance of the Enterprise Data Lakehouse, ensuring it remains a robust and scalable solution.

• Azure Databricks Optimization: Administer and optimize Azure Databricks clusters to ensure top-notch data processing performance.

• ELT Excellence: Implement and refine ELT processes to guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and scalability.

• Data Modeling: Partner with analysts and business units to design and implement efficient data models that drive business success.

• CI/CD Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams to implement seamless continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps.

• Data Integrity: Determine data tracking and storage needs, perform data auditing and validation, and resolve any data issues or discrepancies.

• Mentorship: Train, mentor, and support less experienced Data Engineers, fostering their growth through advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of data engineering and/or data architecture principles, processes, and practices.

• Advanced SQL skills.

• Advanced knowledge of Python.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or related tools.

• Experience with Power BI or related tools.

• Working knowledge of data management and transformation processes.

• Experience with Azure Databricks.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD.

• Experience with version control (e.g., Git).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Agile mindset: trust, teamwork, transparency, respect, continuous improvement, learning, ownership, value delivery, and adaptability.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business/data analytics, management information systems, information technology, or a related field. A combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

• 5+ years of related experience.
