The campus recruiting responsibilities include the execution of full life-cycle campus recruiting as designated in BKD’s university recruiting strategy. Campus Recruiters are highly visible representatives of the firm that promote the BKD brand across campus communities and maintain excellent relationships with candidates, faculty, career center staff, managing partners and other office personnel involved in the recruiting process. Campus Recruiters are responsible for understanding and communicating overall firm and individual office culture, working with offices to identify entry-level and intern hiring needs and attracting candidates to fill these needs across the firm. This role serves as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for candidates, educational institutions and BKD.
What You Will Do:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for all campus hires engaging with students, faculty, and career center staff for intern and campus hires.
Execute an annual recruiting plan for target universities
Plan/coordinate and attend campus recruiting events such as career fairs, student organization meetings, campus interviews, networking events, mock interviews, resume review sessions, etc.
Effectively source candidates from targeted universities, personal interaction, and through online sources (LinkedIn), personal interaction, resume review and interviews
Develop relationships with and serve as the primary point of contact for candidates through the full recruiting cycle
Coordinate with offices to plan and execute our office interview process; participate in-office interview events
Manage ATS; maintain accurate and organized documentation on all candidates and candidate interactions
Coordinate internship programs and employee onboarding processes as needed
Participate in the development and execution of national recruiting activities as needed
A Successful Trusted Advisor Has:
Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
A high degree of initiative; ability to think proactively and problem-solve
Excellent project management, decision-making, writing and oral communication skills
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, web-based applications, email, texting with attention to detail
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Ability to confidently and comfortably deliver presentations and speak in front of large groups
Solid event planning, organizational and facilitation abilities
Knowledge of laws and practices applicable to recruiting and hiring or the ability to gain this knowledge quickly and efficiently
2 or more years campus or corporate recruiting preferred with a strong emphasis on customer/relationship experience and event planning/execution
CPA firm or other professional service firm (financial services, engineering, legal) recruiting experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred
