MercyOne Iowa Heart is seeking a BE/BC Cardiothoracic surgeon to join a busy established practice. The ideal candidate will have proven excellent technical and interpersonal skills. Training or exposure to TAVR, ECMO, and wire skills are desirable. We offer a 3-year income guarantee with a first-year salary of $800,000, $825,000 year two, and $850,000 year three. This offer includes a $75,000 sign on bonus, paid malpractice and a 403B match.

Opportunity Details:

· Position available in 2025

· 5 physician practice

· Surgical case volume over 1000 cases annually

· Opportunity to support and grow LVAD (Joint Commission Accreditation for Ventricular Assist Device)

· Pioneer in beating heart surgery and robotic heart surgery, minimally invasive valve surgery, ECMO, VAD, TAVR and TEVAR

· Block time, 4 CV OR Rooms, 1 hybrid room, Da Vinci Xi/Si

· APP 1st Call with Inpatient Rounding & Clinic Support

· CSICU 24/7 Intensivist Support

Iowa Heart Center was founded in 1970 and is one of the largest Cardiovascular, Cardiology & Vascular practices in the Country, with 52 Physicians on staff. Specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Advanced Heart Failure, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology and General Cardiology.
