For over 50 years, Eyerly Ball has provided a full continuum of mental health services and treatment to meet the needs of our community, from family and individual counseling to outpatient care for all ages. Our innovative solutions provide comprehensive, effective mental health services, including: outpatient, residential, community outreach, care coordination and crisis services.

Position Purpose:

Eyerly Ball is looking for afull or part time LISW, LMSW, LMHC, or LMFTinterested in being inspired, challenged, and changing lives to serve in Des Moines, Indianola, Ames and/or Boone.

A Child Therapist provides initial evaluations, therapy services which may include: individual, groups, couples, or family therapy, and treatment planning. At Eyerly Ball you are a uniquely positioned as part of a team of treatment services from the outpatient setting to community based services, a great asset to better client outcomes. Clinical Therapists have flexibility in developing skills where their passions are. Eyerly Ball is a Community Mental Health Center that provides a broad continuum of behavioral health services to adults with mental illness across 20 countries in central Iowa. Joining Eyerly Ball means working alongside other passionate individuals who are committed to providing the best outcomes for our clients through our multi-disciplinary service model. Services include: outpatient therapy, medication management, RESTORE Program, Senior Outreach Counseling, Care Coordination and Service Coordination, Assertive Community Treatment teams, Community Support Services (CSS), Connections Program, Integrated Service Project teams (ISP), Supported Community Living (SCL), Jail Diversion, Mobile Crisis Response, Day Habilitation program, Habilitation Homes, and Residential Care Facilities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling

  • Current license as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Master's Level Social Worker (LMSW), LMFT, or LMHC in the State of Iowa.

As a condition of employment, Eyerly Ball Community Mental Health Services requires all newly hired employees to have at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine AND a flu shot by their start date unless they have requested and received an exemption due to a qualifying medical condition, a sincerly held religious belief or practice or a requirement by law.
