Valley View Village, our 79-bed campus, is currently seeking a Full-Time Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) to join our caring team as a Full-Time Staffing Coordinator. In this role, you will organize and schedule appropriate nursing department coverage, including the master schedule, daily schedule and scheduling replacements for shifts. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, excels at multitasking, and thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working Monday through Friday. Must be available to be on-call to fill in for call-ins on the weekends.

Staffing Coordinator responsibilities:
Coordinate master schedule and staffing levels for the nursing department.
Provide clerical support to nursing department.
Conduct initial interviews for unlicensed staff and check job references.
Coordinate orientation for new employees.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
Staffing Coordinator skills and requirements:
Must be a CMA with licensure in the state of IA.
Prior LTC experience required.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
Excellent customer service skills.
