The WhatsApp Business API, our enterprise solution, helps medium and large businesses communicate with customers all over the world, so they can connect with them on WhatsApp in a simple, secure, and reliable way.Global Content Strategy is a part of the Integrated Marketing team at WhatsApp. The mission of the Global Content Strategy team is to enable, educate and convert potential and current users of the Business API with compelling and high quality content. Working cross-functionally with other members of the Integrated and greater Marketing organizations, the role of the Content Marketer requires a collaborative mindset, extreme prioritization, and a bias for action. You’ll not only be creating content based on cross-functional requirements, but analyzing content gaps and making strategic content recommendations based on organizational and broader business needs.Qualified candidates will be asked for a portfolio with links to at least three bylined blog posts or long form content they've authored.

Required Skills:

  1. Research, ideate, and create content for the enablement of WhatsApp Business Solution Providers (BSPs) and prospective users of the WhatsApp Business API solution

  2. Own content creation related to specific audience needs and topical areas of focus

  3. Identify gaps in the marketing funnel and proactively identify opportunities for optimization with content (e.g., awareness, consideration, etc.)

  4. Work cross-functionally to create content that supports large and medium scale go-to-market moments

  5. Make strategic recommendations for the best format for your content and develop distribution plans for getting it in front of the right audiences, at the right time

  6. Drive and manage all design processes related to collateral you create

  7. Develop a clear point of view on the best channels for activation of your content

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 4+ years of experience creating content

  2. Familiarity with inbound marketing and basic demand generation best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working on a content team in the B2B software space

  2. Comfortable creating and managing editorial calendars

  3. Experience working with designers and other team members to distill complex processes and ideas into straightforward and actionable content for top, middle and bottom of the marketing funnel

  4. Knowledge of and experience with multiple content mediums, from video to podcasts and beyond

  5. Experience developing content that’s conversational and channel-specific

  6. Experience owning and executing a topical content strategy and track results over time
