Aerotek Controls Engineer in Des Moines, Iowa

*ROLE IN SHOREVIEW, MN! OPEN TO NEGOTIATING RELOCATION PACKAGE*

Description:

Design and implement custom industrial control systems from the concept through delivery.

  • Design cost-effective control systems for custom machinery, including hardware

design, programming, safety analysis, and technical documentation.

  • Identify technical challenges and seek creative solutions by drawing on available

resources.

  • Coordinate with shop personnel during the electrical assembly of control systems

and machines.

  • Participate in control system debug and provide on-site installation and training as

required by project specifications.

Skills & Qualifications:

Must Haves:

  • Open to 2 year or 4 year degreed individuals but would prefer a 4 year degreed Engineer

  • 5+ years with designing control systems hardware (control panels).

  • Familiar with NEC/NFPA79/UL.

  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or Solidworks Electrical experience preferred.

  • Motion control on an allen-bradley platform, web handling context (tension control, registration)
