TEKsystems is hiring customer service representatives to join our team in a hybrid capacity in the Des Moines Metro. Candidates must be comfortable being onsite on Tuesday and Thursday.

Description:

• In this position you will be responsible for delivering accurate and courteous responses to telephone inquiries from contract owners, agents and third parties.

• You will utilize multiple department systems to provide accurate information and will be expected to comprehend and explain life and annuity products.

• You will be working in a fast-paced call center environment and during your day-to-day responsibilities, and you’ll maintain a positive and professional demeanor while meeting or exceeding quality and efficiency goals.

• 40-50 calls a day, calls can be longer

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years in a customer service/call center environment

Preference for candidates with prior experience in Life Insurance and/or Annuities

Ability and willingness to learn multiple financial concepts and systems

Flexibility in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Organizational and follow through skills
