OVERALL OBJECTIVE:
The Director of Sales Analytics and Operations is tasked with designing and driving successful sales initiatives and strategic plan development (to include analyzing sales data, making program recommendations and leading program execution) for all NA Food Business Units. The role requires an innovator and a progressive thinker who can connect sales initiatives to all other aspects of our units’ business and drive growth opportunities. The Director of Sales Analytics and Operations must be able to drive creative initiatives to completion and communicate updates and outcomes to all company stakeholders.
The Director of Sales Analytics and Operations works very closely to the Vice President of Commercial Development and the President of NA Food to develop strategic sales initiatives. S/he will also work directly with the Field Sales teams, IT and Marketing to achieve the division’s strategic business objectives. In addition, the Director of Sales Analytics and Operations will work with the internal team to develop, execute and track results of sales initiatives and special projects. This role must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with making decisions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Enhance existing sales strategy by delving into the data to deliver information and insights to help solve sales problems
Develop strategic solutions to transform the sales function
Lead design of Sales Incentive Plans with key stakeholders (e.g., President of NA Food, VP of Commercial Development, Finance, etc.) that motivate the desired sales behaviors, provide differential rewards to top performers, and operate within Budget parameters
Develop Sales metrics and KPIs, and a process for tracking and dissemination
Analyze sales data for early identify of problems and recommend appropriate solutions
Contribute to development of Eurofins GTM strategy
Customer segmentation and associated programs
Lead Sales goal setting
Develop programs to optimize Sales resources (territory design/sizing, etc.)
Develop and prioritize the sales projects and coordinate the resources required for completion.Manage sales projects by developing schedules and assignments, assessing requirements, planning meetings, coordinating resources and logistics, and evaluating results

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate has:
Bachelor degree required in Business, Marketing, Science, Communications or a related field to the job requirements
Masters of Business Administration is a plus
At least 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years of previous Sales Operations leadership experience
At least 2 years previous experience with Sales Incentive Compensation design and execution is desirable
Previous project management experience
Highly analytical abilities and able to derive meaning from data
Solid command of the English language
Language Ability and Project Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to professionally interact at all levels of the organization, from senior level to all other employment segments, and clients
Excellent attention to project and task details
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Strong relationship management, organizational and project management skills

Computer Skills:
Required: Demonstrated mastery of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Proficiency with data visualization software such as Tableau and Power BI
