As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, servicing and providing technical support for ScentAir environmental fragrance systems. This Field Service Technician's coverage area will be Iowa, Kansas City, St. Louis, and Omaha areas.

Your day to day...
Travel to client sites to install & service environmental fragrance systems that disperse fragrance into desired target areas.
Follow up with customers receiving service to verify expectations are achieved.
Perform prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment installed in client locations as required.
Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on installed equipment as required.
Perform onsite property survey and equipment specification as instructed in scope of work.
Prepare, complete and submit all technical documentation per company guidelines.
Complete tasks as directed by installation & service schedules with minimum supervision.
What we are looking for:
3-5 years field experience as a mechanical or service technician using small hand tools
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work well with changing priorities
Basic understanding of HVAC mechanical systems
Excellent trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
Able to read and interpret building plans and blueprints is a plus
Previous customer facing experience with solid written and oral communications skills
Frequent travel required within a reasonable radius
Overnight travel will typically be required one to three nights per week
No weekends are typically required
Work Environment:
This position will be based out of your home office. While on-site, the noise level in the work environment can be loud at some client facilities. Local travel to client and sub-contractor facilities will be required and will generally account for approximately 90% of your work time, and at times may exceed that.
While performing the duties of this job, you will be frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You will frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and use a ladder to perform work. You will occasionally be required to sit, use hands to operate a computer and calculator, and communicate accordingly via email and Microsoft Teams.
