OVERVIEW :

The OT Asset Specialist will provide direct support to the Facilities team and indirect support to all building system vendors for maintenance, uptime, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, coordination, and other OT connected asset tasks.

The position will work closely with the Clients OT Strategy Team and Building Systems Technology (BST) team to seamlessly integrate OT solutions / maintenance and will provide oversight and Program Management for Building Technology Asset Management (BTAMs) related to building infrastructure technology and IP connected Technology Asset Management (TAM) edge devices and end user computers within the managed portfolio.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -- Other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible to manage all IP connected Technology Asset Management (TAM) devices in assigned portfolio coordinating with the OT Asset Managers, BST, site teams and vendors.

  • Responsible for software & patch management support in coordination with vendors (firmware and software, version upgrades, security vulnerabilities documented by BST), hardware maintenance, installation, configuration and decommissioning at device removal.

  • Provide project management support and reviews from design to execution for TAM devices including BTAMS compliance and documentation for enhancements and modifications.

  • Manage and maintain BTAMS documentation for all site TAM devices in Service Now and CMMS

  • Provide management support to site teams as well as vendors(s) to ensure to BTAPS / BTAMS compliance and documentation.

  • Must possess a thorough working knowledge of Category 5 and 6 cabling as well as fiber optic network backbone within buildings.

  • Provide support to BTES vendor to maintain and update accurate network drawings in assigned Coordinate and facilitate SVR documentation for variation requests to Asset Manager for review.

  • IP address assignment and port configuration requests in coordination with BST and Wells Fargo Network Team

  • Work with BST to request BTES users and devices for assigned location.

  • Work with OT Asset Managers and site teams to maintain operational expense budget for OT system operations and maintenance.

  • Build and maintain quick reference guide for Engineering and Project Management teams including, but not limited to:

  • Client current points of contact. This role will coordinate multiple Client contacts.

  • BTES (BTES form), Cisco network switch installation coordination

  • Utility Net requests/modifications

  • VPN requests for vendor remote access.

  • Flow chart of documentation Engineering or Project Management needs to submit for review along with timeline/duration of processing/approval time within Client/Cisco.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

At least 5 years experience in network operations, ideally in a building system environment working with both IT and OT assets.

CompTIA Network + certification preferred.

Technical Skills

The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols, basic knowledge of IP addressingand subnets, network security and network integration.

The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of building operations, BMS/control systems including architecture, design, communication strategies (BACnet, Modbus, and other open protocol systems), networking, and system operation.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical instructions; ability to interpret construction drawings and documents.

Must be able to effectively communicate with members of the organization to accomplish work activities; coordinate operational activities with external stakeholders.

Must possess the ability to effectively communicate (both oral and written) with clients, tenants, supervisors, subordinates, vendors, and other divisions.

People Skills

Ability to always present a professional and positive image, encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

Ability to work with multiple internal departments and vendors to coordinate system expansions and additions while adhering to communication protocols, encryption, and database requirements.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
