Aerotek Forklift Operator in Des Moines, Iowa

Forklift Operator

$18.50/hour

Des Moines, IA

Our team is seeking a diligent Forklift Operator who will be responsible for operating a sit-down forklift, handling tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, stacking, and moving products. You will also utilize an RF Scanner, load and unload trailers, and participate in inbound receiving.

Description:

  • Operate sit-down forklift

  • Push, pull, lift, stack, move product

  • Utilize RF Scanner

  • Load and unload trailers

  • Inbound receiving

Additional Skills and Qualifications:

  • lift up to 75lbs on occasion

  • maintain a clean and orderly warehouse space

  • high school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment

  • 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday (overtime as needed)

  • Very clean and orderly warehouse, but is an older building.

  • They are working on getting new LED lighting in place this year and have started some remodeling on their breakroom and common areas.

  • Comfortable environment in both the winter and summer.
