You are:
A copywriter that gets patients and providers to act. A self-starter who writes clear, punchy content in a variety of voices and tones. A natural communicator who is adept at capturing interest and building trust.
You also have familiarity with developing copy for regulated industries—ideally in the life sciences or health sectors. Collaborate with Art Directors, Designers and Marketing Professionals to take our content to the next level and grow engagement numbers. Listen deeply. Be creative. Execute.

The work:
Leverage your copywriting skills to write engaging content for the pharmaceutical and/or medical technology sectors
Write long-form and short-form copy for a wide variety of media, including but not limited to, email, digital ads, direct mail, SMS, sales collateral and one-pagers, websites and landing pages
Understand legal limitations of life sciences-related copy, and how to work around them to create strong experiences
Write creative and compelling subject lines and strong CTAs that have a measurable impact on marketing performance
Align on content strategy and copy that drives acquisition, engagement, and retention of our users
Advance research efforts to glean insights into each of our audiences (and segments of our audiences), and leverage this to build user-centered content
Monitor online conversation, content channels (provider newsletters, social media communities, etc.) and industry landscape for current trends and opportunities
Help ensure all copy is consistent with our clients’ style, quality, and tone of voice
Be a visual thinker who takes the entire end product into consideration
Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure a consistent, integrated customer experience
Here’s what you’ll need:
6+ years of copywriting experience at a pharma/life sciences advertising agency or related industry (for example, medical/healthcare publishing)
Proven success in copywriting to drive action among audiences (HCPs, patients, caregivers, etc.)
Requires familiarity with developing content/copy within regulated industries – ideally pharmaceuticals or MedTech
Has an understanding or interest in engaging Healthcare Professionals and Patient audiences to motivate and drive action and engagement
Experience learning about segments of audiences, and tailoring content to each.
Love for writing and storytelling, demonstrated in both long and short form content (portfolio that includes campaigns/writing samples required)
Exceptional interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills, openness to feedback
Ability to balance competing priorities with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Capacity to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders
Bonus points if:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience; Bachelor’s degree in advertising, creative writing
You’re well-versed in Life Sciences creative principles (e.g., MLR review processes and requirements, Fair Balance, branded vs. unbranded restrictions, etc.)
You have experience in Oncology, Neurology, rare disease, patient services, vaccines or related areas
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
