Our GPS Technology Organization is a structure within the US GPS practice that implements and maintains a new operate and technology model designed specifically to support U.S. defense and Government engagements.  

*The opportunity *

As the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Manager, GPS, you’ll primarily be responsible for leading a team of IAM analysts focused on the the information systems supporting the business line. You’ll have the chance to make an impact on careers by providing training, development and performance related feedback. You’ll also be responsible for the development of standard operating procedures, performance metrics, process maturity improvements and the IAM strategy. You’ll contribute to the leadership and strategic direction of the security organzation and the GPS business unit. You’ll act as the liasion with the Corporate IAM functions. The primary goal of the role is to prevent security incidents, minimize impacts, and testore nomal operations post incident.

*Your key responsibilities *

  • Leading a 5 to 12 IAM virtual team utilizing Azure Active Directory in an Azure Government environment

  • Building an inclusive team through a sense of belonging that inspires innovation and collaboration

  • Overseeing and managing a team of junior and mid-level security analysts with their training and performance management, as well as ensuring they have the knowledge and opportunities to grow their careers

  • Ensuring appropriate monitoring for and esclation of security incidents as appropriate with the ability to locate and assimilate new information providing context for security events

  • Prioritizing team efforts so that the most impactful are addressed first

  • Maintaining ongoing knowledge of aligned applications such as Azure hosted services, AD DS, LDS, CS FS, and RMS. Also, DNS, PKI, MFA, SSO, Common Access Cards, RBAC SAML, and other IAM related solutions and services

  • Managing and improving information security documentation as required

  • Serving as an escalation point for team members and providing support and leading investigations when required

  • Working with Information Security project teams to manage and maintain security posture

  • Working with project teams to design and implement IAM controls

  • Managing, generating, and improving of key IAM security metrics

  • Providnge strategic level guidance to technical and business leadership

  • Experience with Microsofts System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)

  • Experience troubleshooting issues using various tools in an Azure environment

  • Knowledge of various authentication and authorization technologies such as federation, SAML, SSO, OAuth, OIDC, WS-Fed, FICAM

  • Experience generating metrics and reporting

  • Knowledge of the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace (NSTIC) ecosystem including the Identity Ecosystem Framework Registry

  • General networking knowledge

  • General knowledge of Windows Server networking and infrastructure

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure environment, especially Azure Government

*To qualify for the role you must have  *

  • Undergraduate/Post Graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related domain (MCA/MTech/BTech/BCA /BSc CS or BSc IT)

  • A CISSP, CISM, GCED, GCIH or similar certification

  • Demonstrated expereince with managing a team

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Security clearance level
