Information & Cyber Security
Information & Cyber Security (ICS) is a part of Wells Fargo Technology. ICS is responsible for protecting the company from cyber threats, engaging with Wells Fargo businesses, assessing information security risk, providing identity services, performing security engineering, and operating the ICS function.
ICS pioneers solutions to secure customer information and enable our partners. This group's mission is to deliver seamless security for stakeholders by empowering the team to manage risk and provide proactive, innovative, and resilient solutions.
The Role
In this newly created position the SVP, Information and Cyber Security Policy Governance Executive (Technology Business Services Executive) will lead the Information and Cyber Security (ICS) Policy Office within the ICS Strategy Management & Integration organization. In addition to building out the team, the leader will be responsible for establishing the direction and drive toward integrated, streamlined, and consistent policy management processes that ensure effective governance frameworks (policies, procedures, management routines, etc.) for current and emerging information and cyber security risks. This includes policies ICS owns that require adherence across the enterprise as well as policies ICS owns and develops for its own business. The leader will work with accountable leaders and teams across ICS, the Technology Control function, and the Enterprise Policy Office. The leader will also be responsible for the coordination and monitoring ICS's implementation of applicable enterprise policies owned by other business lines. This role also includes but is not limited to:
Set the tone for and directs Technology Business Principle Associates and Technology Business Sr. Managers within the ICS Policy Governance Office, driving consistent policy management activity in alignment with the enterprise policy and industry standards
Develop, implement, and maintain an end-to-end policy management process and governance oversight processes therein across ICS
Partnering with ICS Technology Executives and teams in the development of ICS business and enterprise policy
Facilitates review and approval of proposed new development, revision, and rescission activities with ICS Policy Owners; publish in approved systems of record. Submit policies to the Board or appropriate committees if required on behalf of ICS Policy Owners
Identifies the needs for and develops governance documents for ICS; determines adequacy of new and existing governance documents with enterprise and ICS business impact
Work with subject matter experts to identify significant impacts of new or changed requirements, and determine the appropriate implementation period
Monitors regulatory changes that may impact policy; ensures alignment to laws, rules, and regulation
Stays abreast of relevant external perspectives and industry trends to inform policy development and governance
Partners with the Enterprise Policy Office to align governance documents to other materially related governance documents, facilitate formal reviews. Consults with Legal and Independent Risk Management on policy requirements
Monitor policy exceptions and violations, as well as adherence to ICS policies across the enterprise using a risk-based approach; brings forward for review and disposition by ICS Policy Owners. Aggregate, evaluate, and report implementation and adherence results with escalate where necessary
Manage ICS policy impact assessments and coordinate remediation with accountable leaders
This person must be able to

Required Qualifications
10+ years of technology experience
7+ years of experience with strategic planning in technology
5+ years of experience with leadership in an enterprise technology environment
1+ year of information technology experience
Desired Qualifications
Experience managing large or multiple technology development efforts within a major line of business
Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
Other Desired Qualifications
10+ years of experience in risk management (includes compliance, financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, business process management) or 10+ years of financial services industry experience
7+ years of policy and governance management
Knowledge of OCC Heightened Standards, FRB Supervisory Guidance OP-1594, NIST
Demonstrated experience working with senior executive leadership, including C-suite executives
Experience in working with legal and/or compliance
Measurable impacts and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion
Demonstrated experience in building, leading, developing and retaining a high performing team of leaders, strong subject matter experts and high performing professionals in a cultural environment that achieves results through team member engagement and satisfaction
