The Waldinger Corporation, a growing Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Sheet Metal industry leader, is adding an IT Support Specialist - EnterpriseApplications to our team!Administers new user setup and ongoing support for MFS (Penta Mobile) technicians. Provides daily support of Business Applications to local and remote users with the goal of keeping them operational and running smoothly.Business Applications include Penta, Paperless, OnBase, ALMobile, MFS (Penta Mobile), iPad apps, and others as assigned.

Specific Duties:

  • Responsible for onboarding MFS (Penta Mobile) service technicians. Setup includes both Penta and iPad configuration as well as creation of training exercises.
  • Provides effective and timely resolution to a broad range of internal customer issues and inquiries in line with our customer service best practices.
  • Documents all communication with customers and colleagues within the IT helpdesk ticketing system, including troubleshooting steps and clear explanation of work done. Ensures that a helpful explanation of resolution is communicated to the customer for each ticket. Encourages our customers to submit all requests via the Jira helpdesk ticketing system and portal.
  • Assists in maintaining documentation of troubleshooting tips and instructional guides as an online reference for IT staff and internal customers, as appropriate. Contributes solution and troubleshooting tips to Knowledge Base.
  • Assists in the implementation and ongoing support of new initiatives as directed by the Assistant Manager of Business Applications.
  • Regularly provides Assistant Manager of Business Applications with project status updates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Associates in MIS or related IT field, but not required
  • Display a high-level of customer service skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability and willingness to learn new tasks and software as required. Ability to work and think independently to troubleshoot, document and resolve issues.
  • Accountability: Owning and taking responsibility for ones actions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage, and perform multiple tasks with multiple deadlines, responding quickly to changing priorities and following through on all tasks.
  • Collaboration: Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to easily and effectively interact with technical, non-technical and business staff at all levels. Ability to work in a team environment; to convey and listen to others ideas.
  • Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills; must be able to speak and write clearly and correctly; to communicate accurately and succinctly.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Minimum 2 - 4 years experience in an IT customer support role, with a strong interest in customer service.
  • Enterprise resource planning support experience a plus.
