The Role

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to become a part of our Network Implementations Reporting and Analytics team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on resolving data-related issues and advancing our data narratives within a team that's both fast-paced and highly visible. The Main Responsibilities

• Analyze data to provide meaningful insights. This individual must have strong data manipulation and interpretation skills.

• Take charge of sourcing new data, from establishing connections to executing ETL processes.

• Validate and enhance data using complex SQL functions.

• Effectively convey complex analysis and concepts to non-technical audiences, both orally and in writing.

• Identify, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.

• Guarantee the quality, completeness, accuracy, and promptness of data solutions.

• Perform ad hoc and data analysis, construct models and reports, and pinpoint key insights that drive solutions to business challenges as needed and collaborate with project teams to synthesize findings and develop data-driven narratives and strategies

• Develop and maintain complex data reporting views, tables in Oracle DBMS, and manage ETL processes.

• Oversee the creation and management of dataflows in Power BI, create and maintain scripts in Python or R for various automation and analysis purposes

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

• Advanced experience building data models and performing complex queries using SQL

• Advanced experience performance tuning large datasets

• Advanced experience building large data pipelines and/or web services

• Advanced experience in complex data development

• Experience in defining business requirements - prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.

• Strong understanding of data engineering and data stewardship roles in an organization

• Strong time management and organization skills. Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

• Must possess strong communication and relationship development skills.

• Ability to manipulate and summarize large data sets.

• A love of data analysis and data engineering.

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; Critical thinker

• Experience in defining business requirements - prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.

• Comfortable reaching out to domain experts to seek the knowledge you need.

• Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

• Able to draw conclusions from research and analysis and determine next steps and course of action.

• Oracle DBMS / Python / R

• Telecom industry experience preferred

• Nice to haves but not must haves: Power Apps in both Model Driven and Canvas Driven apps using Oracle Databases and Data verse and embedded Power Apps / Power BI / SharePoint development / R and/or Python customizations to Power BI.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$80510 - $107340 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, and SD.

$84740 - $112980 in these states: AZ, AL, FL, GA, IN, IA, KS, MO, MT, NM, ND, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WV, WI, and WY.

$88980 - $118630 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, OR, and RI.

$93210 - $124280 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DE, DC, IL, MD, MA, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
