Hotel:Des Moines Embassy SuitesJob DescriptionProfile:Telecommute: NoBonus Eligible: NoDirect Reports: NoReports To: Chief Engineer or Area Chief EngineerEquipment: UniformPrimary Purpose:The primary purpose of the Maintenance Supervisor is to supervise engineering staff and ensure work orders are completed in a timely basis according to brand standards so that guests can have an excellent experience throughout their stay.Work Performed:TheMaintenance Supervisorwill be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:Assist in managing building assets including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electricalsystems;Assist in effectively planning, scheduling and evaluating preventative maintenanceprograms;Conduct roomand equipmentinspections and identify repairneeds;Ensures allAssociateshave the proper supplies and equipment, through using company approvedorderingplatforms;Conduct appropriate coaching and accountability ofengineeringassociatesin accordance with Atrium's CoreValues;Assist with scheduling Associates according to businesslevels;Assist in vendorproposals;Ensure proper sanitization/disinfecting/cleaning of your work area and area after you workcompleted;;Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report equipment problems and maintenance issues, accidents, injuries and safety hazards, or unsafe work conditions toleadership;Complete tasks that could have been assigned Maintenance Technician;andAny and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.Qualifications:Required Prior Experience:One (1) year of priorengineering/maintenance experiencePreferred Prior Experience: Prior supervisory and/or leadership experienceRequired Education:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Licenses/ Certification:HVAC, Electrical and/or Plumbing CertificationPhysical:Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsoccasionallyAbleto bend and squatrepeatedly;Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shiftOther:Flexible toworkdayshifts, early mornings, evenings,nights,weekends and holidaysIn addition to competitive compensation packages, Atrium Hospitality offers competitive benefits packages; 401k; tuition reimbursement; commissions for referred and booked hotel business; as well as discounted rates at any of our hotels for associates, their immediate family members and friends.
