Job DetailsJob LocationDes Moines Branch - Des Moines, IAPosition TypeFull TimeOverview/Function: The Marketing Coordinator is an administrative support role for the commercial and marketing team, supporting company-wide sales initiatives and helping to maintain a positive image of the company through retail promotion campaigns, marketing content, digital media efforts, and related outreach events. Major Responsibilities:Create marketing/sales print and digital content while ensuring consistent use of corporate branding standards across all platforms, for both internal and external use.Coordinate retail promotion marketing efforts.Assist with content development for internal company newsletter.Assist with social media monitoring and content development.Work with multiple departments on Point-of-Sale development and order coordination.Work with outside agencies, vendors, community members, and other partners while maintaining a positive relationship, serving as a point of contact for certain community and sponsorship outreach.Maintain system for documenting and tracking point of sale and promotional items.Professionally interact with customers and consumers while positively upholding company brand image and reflecting Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company in appearance, interactions, and decisions, upholding the companys mission and values. Support promotional and sales activities, and other events as requested.Develop relative reports.Other duties as required. Experience and Qualifications:Associates Degree with at least two years of general work experience is needed. Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field is strongly desired. (Additional related experience may substitute for education.) Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally. Strong communication skills with a proven ability to create and write professional content.Self-motivated, consumer-focused, and an excellent team player with the ability to effectively work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with minimal oversight. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines while efficiently handling multiple projects.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Outlook.Strong business and sales-oriented acumen is needed.Project management experience is a plus.Strong problem resolution and analytical thinking skills.Flexible with the ability to adapt to varying situationsMust have competent Social Media user skills (including but not limited to Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, etc.) and impeccable personal social media user profile.Additional:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position will be office-based, however may occasionally spend time at each of our facilities throughout the region and to attend off-site events at customer sites. A variety of physical abilities are needed, such as the ability to lift files and displays, push/pull displays, open filing cabinets, kneel, and bend as needed. The ability to climb stairs, stand, walk, twist, grasp, reach, push, pull, sit, stoop, crouch, and climb will be required.
