Aerotek Medical Administrative Assistant in DES MOINES, Iowa

Seeking a medical administrative assistant to join a dynamic healthcare network in Des Moines, IA! This organization offers career growth and advancement opportunities in the medical field, along with a generous benefits package, once hired on full time.

This position will be an on site role and candidates will work along side an administrative partner. There are multiple shifts available with start dates as soon as possible.

On a daily basis, candidates will check patients in for medical appointments, will verify insurance, take payments, help patients sign authorization forms, answer phones and will enter patient registration information into internal systems, along with other medical administrative tasks, as assigned, including filing and handling paperwork. Please note that we are seeking candidates who are ready to provide EXCELLENT customer service to all patients!

To be qualified for this position, candidates must have 6 months of customer service experience and a strong passion for the medical field. Prior healthcare experience is not required, but is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required, as well as the ability to work with at times, challenging patients and patient situations. Strong attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. A high school diploma is also required.
