The Principal Program Manager - Demand Planning collaborates with the Sales and/or Service teams to collect accurate and timely demand signals for assigned Service segments. Drawing on extensive experience, this professional excels at crafting and driving forecast and demand planning strategies that align with the OCI’s goals and market dynamics. Using their expertise, the Demand Planner improves forecasting models, analyzes historical data, and incorporates market insights to produce accurate and valuable demand projections. They are also responsible for fostering effective communication and collaboration with Services teams, ensuring a coordinated approach to demand forecasting. This role demands a proactive and strategic demeanor, with the Demand Planner actively seeking opportunities to optimize processes and improve efficiency within the demand planning function. With a strong attention to detail and a shown understanding of the public cloud market, this individual helps drive the company's success by ensuring a well-coordinated and informed response to market demands.

Specific responsibilities include:• Comprehensive ownership for demand forecasting & planning in partnership with OCI Service & Sales teams, supporting organic & and inorganic requirements for both internal and external demand. • Proficient in analytics and data-driven decision-making, adept at 'What-if' analysis, and skilled in applying tools such as Excel, databases, and business intelligence systems.• Demonstrates a sense of urgency, takes ownership, drives action, possesses critical thinking abilities, and excels in anticipating and handling risks.• Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with executives, with the ability to comprehend complex data, simplify it, and convey accurate stories. Collaborates closely with Service teams, Finance, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.• Efficiently runs Product Lifecycle, being responsible for new product introductions, and driving end-of-life management for various SKUs.

Qualifications: • 7+ years in forecasting, analytics, supply chain, or operations.• Comfortable with deep data dives, strong verbal and written skills, quick adaptation.• Demonstrated use of data/metrics for decision-making.• Effective handling of multiple initiatives, prioritizing with precision.• Working knowledge of SQL; advanced skills a plus.• Advanced Excel modeling proficiency.• Program management expertise, influencing cross-team stakeholders.• Operational mindset: understand, execute, improve.• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, or related field preferred.• Strategic thinker in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.

Preferred Qualifications• Experience with cloud-based products and/or technology• MBA

US: Hiring Range: from $87,800 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
