We are recruiting for a Product Design Engineer to work hand in hand with customers and internal quality, manufacturing, and engineering to design and develop medical device products. This position is with a leading OEM and will manage product design projects from initial planning stages to product release.

These roles designs, develops, and improves new or existing products, and builds and tests prototypes to ensure customer specifications are met on time and within budget.

Salary target range is $50-90K annually depending on experience, a full benefits package including medical, vision, life, disability, and a 401K plan with a match; PTO is given immediately upon employment, along with 7 annual holidays. Relocation assistance may be available.

We are looking for candidates with:

1. Bachelor in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field

2. 2-5+ years' experience

3. Ability to understand finished design drawings produced by the design concept team including layouts and tolerance valuations for detail product drawings.

4. Autocad, Solidworks, or similar design software experience

5. Candidate's comfortable with a customer facing role, serving as a consultant to the customer

6. Design experience with medical devices, or, related products

7. Familiarity of FDA compliance issues

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
