The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.

Wells Fargo Auto’s Product and Digital Transformation Team is looking for a Product Enablement Leader who will support our continued evolution to a customer-centric product framework. This role will focus on enabling our product managers and associated staff to develop their skills in crafting solutions that will delight our customers. This leader will champion and advocate for product and agile mindsets through the adoption of associated best practices within the Product and Digital Transformation team and amongst our partners. You will anticipate the needs of stakeholders and lead the identification, design, and execution of changes, which will further enable Product Managers, Engineering teams, and associated partners to deliver our customer focused solutions. You will work hand in hand with Agile & Product leaders throughout Consumer Lending & the Enterprise, inclusive of operations and IT, in order to ensure adoption of best practices and alignment with the greater Wells Fargo Agile & Product Transformation. Success will be measured by improvements in the culture based on agile principles, development of high performing product teams, and realization of customer outcomes that advance our position in the marketplace.

Scope of Responsibility:

  • Partner with the Product and Digital Transformation Team & Auto Technology leadership as well as operations and other partners to identify, design and execute changes in alignment with the overall enterprise agile and product management strategy.

  • Consult on Product Management best practices including product definition, product development, utilizing data (inclusive of customer feedback) and product roadmap practices.

  • Collaborate with enterprise coaching and transformation teams to support specific Agile and Product Management initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

  • Establish productive, positive relationships with key stakeholders amongst cross functional stakeholders groups, leverage those relationship to advocate and influence to encourage Agile and Product mindset adoption.

  • Lead the team in identifying, evaluating and addressing risks, issues and action items.

  • Partner closely with our communication and technology teams to track and report on progress, metrics, strategic insights, dashboards and implementations within specific transformation initiatives.

  • Assist leadership and operations in understanding the benefits and embracing product and agile practices ty by providing training, mentoring and maintaining close partnership.

  • A successful candidate will possess:

  • Product management experience in a scaled agile environment

  • Demonstrated ability to apply product discovery techniques which enable product development

  • Strategic planning and execution experience with the ability to create roadmaps and execute deliverables

  • Strategy leadership skills with the ability to piece together complex matrixed organizations and collaborate/influence horizontally across technology, risk, Auto, Consumer Lending, and agile partners

  • Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals

  • Ability to Collaborate with Auto / Consumer Lending / SDI journey owners, product owners, delivery leads to ensure scrum teams are built and aligned appropriately.

  • Ability to partner with Agile Coaching organization to ensure effective Agile team delivery for Auto.

  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence strategic initiatives

  • Proven success in working across multiple stakeholders to set strategy and plan execution of large scale, multi-group initiatives

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; must be able to effectively communicate and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, competing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities

  • Excellent analytical skills, with a track record of making data driven decisions

  • Proven collaboration/facilitation ability; team player and collaborator with demonstrated success in leading, influencing, motivating and building strong internal/external business relationships in a heavily-matrixed organization

  • Work style is driven and results oriented; comfortable working in a partnering environment and sometimes being the leader behind the scenes orchestrating the process

  • Must be comfortable working with ambiguity and thrive on putting logical structure and framework in place

  • Financial services and/or digital experience

  • 3+ years advanced experience with JIRA and Confluence

  • 4+ years previously working as an active Scrum Master and/or Product Owner

  • Prior experience with Customer Journey Mapping and Product Canvasing

  • Prior experience with OKRs and KPIs

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of strategic planning experience

  • 5+ years of Agile experience

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience leading large scale Agile enablement at the delivery leadership level

  • Strategic planning and execution experience with the ability to create Agile Transformation Roadmaps and execute deliverables

  • Strategy leadership skills with the ability to piece together complex matrixed organizations and collaborate/influence horizontally across technology, risk, Auto, Consumer Lending, and Agile partners

  • Experience with scaling Agile leverage industry Frameworks, preferably SAFe or LeSS

  • Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals

  • Ability to Collaborate with Auto / Consumer Lending / SDI journey owners, product owners, delivery leads to ensure scrum teams are built and aligned appropriately.

  • Ability to partner with Agile Coaching organization to ensure effective Agile team delivery for Auto.
